Honored as the No. 5 agent in the 8,000-plus membership of the Atlanta Realtors Association, Debra Johnston, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Georgia Properties’ No. 1 associate in the Buckhead office, recently achieved another top-performing year with more than $40.5 million in sales volume. A Diamond member of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ prestigious Chairman’s Circle, Johnston ranks as one of the top half of 1 percent of the company’s worldwide network encompassing over 48,000 VIP agents. Johnston, a Buckhead resident of 25 years, was cited by Dan Forsman, the company’s president and CEO, as “a commanding presence in Atlanta real estate and a titan in the luxury market.”
At the Atlanta Realtors Association annual awards gala, President Bill Murray, who is senior vice president and managing broker of Berkshire’s Buckhead office, presented Johnston with the Phoenix Award, signifying 10 years membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Club.
“This year is the fourth consecutive year that Debra Johnston has dominated our Buckhead office sales as top agent,” Murray said in a news release. “Her sale of a magnificent Buckhead estate at 421 Blackland Road listed at $7.5 million was one of the Atlanta’s highest priced transactions of the year. Her success in selling luxury homes in Atlanta’s most celebrated neighborhood includes many sales from $3 million and higher.”
